Eggs & Bacon

Ingredients

BREAD:
• 1 slice of bread
TOMATOES & MUSHROOMS:
• 1 tomato
• 2 mushrooms
• 1 tsp. oil
SAUSAGES:
• 2 small sausages
• 1 tsp. oil
BACON:
• 2 rashers of TULIP bacon
• oil
BAKED BEANS
• 70 g baked beans
SCRAMBLED EGGS:
• 1 large egg
• salt
• butter
• chopped parsley
• ketchup

Method

  1. BREAD: Fry a slice of sandwich bread in a dry pan.
  2. TOMATOES & MUSHROOMS: Cut the tomato in half. Scrub the mushrooms and quarter them. Sauté the mushrooms in oil in a pan while stirring. Remove the mushrooms.
  3. BACON & SAUSAGES: Fry the rashers in oil in a very hot pan until crisp and golden. Dry the fried rashers on a piece of kitchen roll. Separate the fat into a bowl. Dry the pan with kitchen roll. Fry the sausages in bacon fat until golden brown. Turn them half way through. Add the half tomatoes.
  4. BAKED BEANS: Heat the baked beans in a pan.
  5. SCRAMBLED EGGS: Whisk the eggs with a pinch of salt in a bowl. Melt the butter in a pan. Pour the egg mixture on the pan and stir slowly while it thickens (the mixture should still be golden and soft).
  6. TO SERVE: Arrange the sausages and bacon rashers with the baked beans, scrambled eggs, toast, fried tomato halves and mushrooms. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve with tomato ketchup.
